As part of Floriade’s activities, the Italian Pavilion is glad to announce a series of seminars taking place on September 30 and October 1 on three specific topics regarding the opportunities that Natural Based Solutions have to offer.
The Seminars are organized by the three Italian Associations of Horticulture: Associazione Italiana Verde Pensile (AIVEP), Associazione Italiana Architettura del Paesaggio (AIAPP) and Associazione Nazionale Vivaisti Esportatori (ANVE), together with the National Council of Agricultural Doctors and Forestry Doctors (CONAF), which for years have been active in passing on the importance of the horticulture sector for a more suitable management, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency and Fiere di Parma.
First of all, ‘Water: Resource and Management’ a roundtable on the urgency of developing new strategies for the collection and management of a primary asset increasingly subject to dramatic changes due to climate change.
On October 1, two other seminars will take place: in the morning, we will talk about the possibility of ‘Regenerating with nature’ urban spaces and areas, and how the quality of life can be improved with the design and management of greenery with new technologies and advanced agronomic knowledge.
Last but not least, ‘Tree: emotions and functions’ to be interpreted as a basic element for improving the ecosystem performance of new projects at the territorial scale by reducing the heat island effect and air pollutants.
